Meet Akron, PA Dentist Office Team

Amanda joined the practice in November 2025 and assists the dentist with a variety of procedures. She earned her EFDA certification from Harcum College in 2016 and especially enjoys helping with larger restorative cases that improve a patient’s smile and confidence. Amanda believes in always putting the patient first and helping each person feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit.

Outside the office, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband, Matt, and daughter, Addison. She also loves ice cream, country music, and line dancing whenever she gets the chance.

Ivy joined the practice in April 2026 and assists the doctor in providing exceptional clinical care. She completed the Dental Assisting program at Lancaster County Career and Technology Center in 2014 and earned her Expanded Functions Dental Assistant certification there in 2022. Ivy is passionate about providing compassionate, personalized care and enjoys exploring both the aesthetic and surgical sides of dentistry. She believes in putting patients first and carefully considering their individual needs when helping create the best treatment experience.

Outside the office, Ivy enjoys canning and baking with her daughter, spending time outdoors with family, gardening, and caring for her many houseplants. She is also known for her great one-liners and loves watching Friends.

Sage joined the practice in April 2026 and helps patients with scheduling, phone calls, and insurance claims. She enjoys being a friendly face and voice for the practice while creating a warm, welcoming, and stress-free experience for every patient. Sage graduated from Reading Muhlenberg Career and Technology Center and believes dental care should always be compassionate, nonjudgmental, and centered around truly listening to each patient’s concerns. Outside the office, she is a licensed cosmetologist who enjoys doing nails, learning about skincare, painting, and drawing.

Lori joined the practice in October 2020 and brings 26 years of clinical dental hygiene experience to her role as Office Manager. She helps bridge the gap between patient care and daily business operations, ensuring each visit feels seamless, stress-free, and personalized. Lori enjoys using her clinical background to explain treatment plans, help patients maximize their insurance benefits, and support the team in providing exceptional care. She values building meaningful relationships with patients from their first phone call through their final checkout.

Outside the office, Lori enjoys spending time with her children, visiting her family’s beach house in Long Neck, Delaware, and spoiling her Mini Goldendoodle, Leo, who is affectionately known as the king of the family!

Kristi joined the practice in 2025 and helps keep each patient visit running smoothly by preparing treatment rooms and carefully sterilizing dental instruments. She completed the Dental Assistant program at Willow Street Career and Technology Center in 2002 and enjoys supporting the team wherever she is needed. Outside the office, Kristi enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music from the ’70s and ’80s, and enjoying Mexican food. Her best dental advice is simple: brush and floss twice a day!

Julianne has been part of the practice for more than three years and is passionate about helping patients maintain healthy, confident smiles. She provides preventive care, removes harmful bacteria from the teeth and gums, and screens for concerns such as oral cancer. Julianne graduated from Middlesex County College in New Jersey in 2019 and especially enjoys building lifelong relationships with her patients and watching their families grow. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, golfing, and playing pickleball.

Jolene has been part of the practice since March 2010 and provides dental cleanings, X-rays, oral health assessments, and personalized patient education. She graduated from Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2000 and believes every patient deserves care and guidance tailored to their individual needs. While Jolene loves teeth, she says her favorite part of dentistry is getting to know the people behind the smiles and building lasting relationships with patients.

Outside the office, Jolene enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, biking, and attending sporting events. She listens to music from The Beatles and Tom Petty, with a little Taylor Swift mixed in.

Katie joined our team in 2009 and is Dr. Sara’s assistant. She is married and has a beautiful little girl, Everleigh who keeps her on her toes. Katie also has 2 fur children that she loves hanging with. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Billie Sue first came to the practice as a temporary hygienist before officially joining the team. She earned her dental hygiene degree from Yakima Valley Community College in Washington in 2005 and specializes in helping patients prevent oral disease and maintain healthy smiles. She especially enjoys teaching patients simple, practical ways to care for their teeth at home and believes the best dental care comes from honest conversations, teamwork, and a personalized approach.

Outside the office, Billie Sue enjoys spending time with her husband, three daughters, and their two corgis. With three busy girls, she describes family life as “beautifully chaotic” and loves cheering them on at their many activities. She also enjoys soft oatmeal cookies, the movie While You Were Sleeping, and listening to Christian music.
